Founded in 1914, this tiny tavern, emblematic of Ano Poli, is now run by a young and dynamic team. Grandmother's style dishes (pork neck with mashed pork and cooking juices) and Anatolian recipes: a long, super strong green pepper to accompany fresh cheeses, cumin falafels, etc. All this can be enjoyed while sipping tsipouro under a pleasant arbour (heated terrace in winter). You can end with a coffee on the panoramic roof of the Little Big House hostel (100 m above) or at the other good tavern, Stassi, on the square below.

Super bonne adresse cette terrasse au lilieu de maisons ottomanes. Les salades sont délicieuses et le calmar (entier) grillé est excellent. Merci pour cette belle expérience de Thessalonique!

Laid back neighborhood tavern, the menu is small but each dish is prepared fresh and perfectly executed. The waiters are on top of their game. And the atmosphere is timeless. They play their music on vinyls, where else do they do that! Kudos

Η τοποθεσία είναι πολύ όμορφη,στην άνω Πόλη,όμως το φαγητό μέτριο και πόσο μάλλον και για τις τιμές που έχει.
Δεν γίνεται να έχει μόνο τρεις σαλάτες και μάλιστα η λάχανο καρότο το λάχανο πικρό επειδή δεν είναι της εποχής του το λάχανο...το κρασί καθόλου καλό....
