AVEROFF ART MUSEUM

Evangelos Averoff-Tositsa (1910-1990), a great Greek politician, was a great collector of Greek art. Nearly 250 sculptures, paintings and engravings dating from the 19th and 20th centuries are exhibited in this museum, which has been open since 1988. The opportunity to discover talented Greek artists little known in France such as Gyzis, Volanakis, Lytras, Iakovides, Parthenis, Maleas, Galanis, Moralis, Tetsis and many others. Not to be underestimated, this is one of the most interesting contemporary collections in Greece.
