AÉROPORT

It's a good option to reach Epirus from the Athenian capital. But you should know that there is no airport at Lefkada (Ionian island). Also Aktion airport, near Preveza on the mainland, is a 15-minute drive from the city of Lefkada. The airport is therefore heavily frequented by tourists during the summer period.

Please note that it is difficult to find a taxi or a free parking space on Sundays around the airport because of the large number of charter flights from England.
