The Rio Antirio Bridge is a must-see with its majestic stays and slightly curved layout.

With its majestic shrouds and slightly curved layout, this structure, designed by the French company Vinci, is unmistakable. It is the second longest bridge of its type in the world (2,252 m against 2,460 m for the Millau bridge) linking the Peloponnese to continental Greece. You will take it from Rio and find yourself on the other side of the inlet in 3 or 4 minutes instead of the necessary 30 minutes by ferry. Overhanging the waters by 150 m, it sinks to more than 60 m below sea level to resist wind and earthquakes.
