STADE G. KARAISKAKIS

The stadium of the famous football team Olympiakos, with red and white colors. Matches are held throughout the year. The stadium has been completely renovated and can accommodate up to 31,032 spectators. Shops, restaurants and a museum are open to all inside. Founded in 1925, Olympiakos initially represented the underprivileged in Piraeus. It played its first match against the French warship Jeanne d'Arc at the Velodrome in Paris! Since then, it has become an omnisport club, but its football team is the most successful in the Greek championship.
