Youth hostel located in the heart of Plaka, the historic district of the city, at the foot of the Acropolis and its museum.
A youth hostel, one of the best known in the capital and one that knows how to welcome. With the advantage of being right in the heart of Plaka, the historic district of the city, at the foot of the Acropolis and its museum, this is a good base camp. Admittedly, the street is quite noisy (or lively, depending on the viewpoint) and some of the facilities are a bit old-fashioned, but the place retains a lot of charm. Some rooms even have a view of the Parthenon.

Did the job for me, a place to lay my head at night while I’m Athens. I was personally hoping for a more social atmosphere and this was the least social hostel I’ve been to but maybe that was just bad luck. There’s a big communal space with a bar that stayed empty the entire time I was there. But the beds were clean and comfortable enough, the showers were recently remodeled and very nice, A/C works, and it has a great location.

El AC no funcionaba y tampoco algunas lámparas. Muy justito, la verdad, aunque la ubicación es buena.

Bien placé. Chambres pas idéales, pas de prises à côté des lits, il faut remettre la clé à l'accueil à chaque fois que l'on sort, et les toilettes sont en plein milieu d'une pièce où il y a deux douches, c'est mal pensé. Un homme s'est touché à côté de moi un soir, dans une chambre de 8 personnes...

El trato del personal fue bastante decepcionante. La habitación tenía un nivel bastante bajo. Los plomos del aire acondicionado estaban bajados y nos tocó subirlos a nosotros, además el aire no se podía controlar. Cuando tirabas de la cisterna estaba durante más de 5 minutos sonando como si hubiera un taladro en la habitación. Se escuchaban todos los ruidos del pasillo, no pudimos pegar ojo. Potencial totalmente desaprovechado. Buena ubicación.

You get what you pay for. It’s very reasonably priced given the location, but obviously that will inevitably come with some drawbacks. The location is excellent, and for a cheap stay in Athens, it will be fine for most people.
