La Trata offers fresh fish, shellfish and seafood dishes of the highest quality, right in the heart of Athens! The owner, Ch. Chalciadakis, a Cretan, runs this family-run establishment, a must in the city center. Just a few steps from Omonia Square, but in a quiet corner, you can enjoy refined and traditional specialties. Excellent address for a glass of ouzo or raki accompanied by fruity dishes! Very good value for money, even for fresh fish by the kilo. Relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

Μια παραδοσιακή ψαροταβέρνα στο κέντρο της Αθήνας με νόστιμα πιάτα γενικά και πολύ καλές τιμές! Δοκιμάσαμε καλαμαράκια τηγανιτά, σαρδέλες ψητές, πατάτες τηγανιτές, ταραμοσαλάτα και χωριάτικη σαλάτα και μας άρεσαν πολύ! Το προσωπικό πολύ ευγενικό και εξυπηρετικό. Ο χώρος του καθαρός και ευρύχωρος με αρκετά τραπέζια μέσα και έξω.

We had a great time and the food was amazing! Everyone was very friendly, they’ve prepared special pasta for our little girl and she loved it. We had the best Greek salad in Athens so far and brilliant shrimps saganaki. Would go back again for sure!!!
