The mountainous terrain and proximity to the sea have created a specific climate and favorable conditions for the development of lush forest vegetation, meadows and other man-made habitats, home to protected endemic flora and fauna.In September, the Učka Trail runs over park trails, undergrowth, narrow open paths and up the slopes of Mount Vojak to its summit. Athletes, mountain runners, triathletes as well as Croatian and European hikers - on a "lighter" course - take part. At the finish, a friendly welcome awaits them in Mošćenička Draga.
