Superb neoclassical property in Opatija featuring luxurious rooms and suites and a gourmet restaurant with terrace.
Built in 1884, this historic establishment was the first on the Croatian Adriatic coast to welcome members of the Austro-Hungarian monarchy. A stunning neoclassical property and a model of elegance in Opatija, it was renovated in 2019 with respect to the past. Guests enjoy the luxurious rooms and suites, most of them with a view of the Lungomare, the private pool and beach, the gourmet restaurant with terrace open to the sea and the park. In the outbuildings, rooms of a lower standard have been created (Villa Amalia).

☹️ Leider hat die Geschäftsleitung wegen der Taubenplage beim Frühstück auf der Terrasse (man konnte den Teller nie unbeaufsichtigt lassen) in keinsterweise reagiert, sehr ärgerlich.
Weiters möchten wir den nächtlichen Lärm wegen Hochzeits- und div anderen Hotelevents bis in die frühen Morgenstunden nicht unerwähnt lassen. Der benachbarte club hat der Lärmbelästigung noch eines drauf gesetzt. Der Strand ist öffentlich zugängig, nur die Liegen und Schirme sind für Hotelgäste frei. Schirme sind teilweise sehr schmutzig, kaputt und generell zu wenig vorhanden. Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis stimmt für uns leider nicht mehr.
