Superbe hôtel niché au nord de l’île.

Très beau lodge décoré avec goût et très bien entretenu.
Personnel attentif et agréable, le patron est charmant et aux petits soins avec ses clients. Bravo à toute l'équipe.Seul regret : ne pas rester plus longtemps. Delphine et Antoine

Ein kleines Refugium auf der Insel, mit einer schönen Lage, direkt am Meer. Die kleine Anlage mit wunderschön angelegtem Garten lässt einen nach einem anstrengenden Urlaub voller Abenteuer zur Ruhe kommen. Ausflugsmöglichkeiten werden angeboten, Schnorcheln vor dem kleinen Hausriff ist möglich und sehenswert. Auch Kajaks können und sollten benutzt werden.
Ein Dankeschön ein Marc und sein tolles Team, hier haben wir wieder Kraft getankt für die letzte Etappe Madagascar. ????‍♀️????‍♂️

Que lugar, que paraíso!!! Realmente hermoso, aunque queda algo distante del aeropuerto eso no es impedimento para hospedarse en un lugar tan apacible, lleno de detalles y de una excelente atención con sus huéspedes. Desde que nos revigerion del aeropuerto hasta llegar al hotel tienes la oportunidad de ver el camino y conocer un poco de la zona, ver si gente, sus casas, el camino se hace corto porque vas conociendo. El Lodge es atendido por un personal muy educado y sobre todo por su dueño, se portó siempre muy atento y muy agradable con todos. Samaria lodge me encantó, se los recomiendo!!!

Durant notre passage du 5 au 7 Juillet 2023,, merci infiniment Marc et tout l'équipe de votre accueil chaleureux. Nous avions passés exceptionnelle en grande famille des beaux séjour dans votre hôtel.
Sortie en baleine, petits déjeuner, déjeuner, souper, l'emplacement vue la mer, la beauté de vos chambres et les paysages au alentour sont tous magnifiques. Je recommande vivement de séjourner chez Marc.

Nous y avons mangé le midi avec notre ami de ste Marie avant de continuer notre route pour les piscines naturelles.
L'emplacement et le cadre est incroyable avec une piscine naturelle juste devant le restaurant en contre bas.
Parfait pour occuper les enfants pendant le repas car comme partout à Madagascar, il faut pas être pressé pour manger. Tout est très bon et reposant.

Nous y sommes allés plusieurs fois.
Nous avons fait l'expérience de la sortie baleines qui nous a enchanté, avec la possibilité de voir 3 différents groupes de baleines.
Nous avons aussi passé la soirée avec apéritif, ambiance musicale locale , et dîner incluant un filet de zébu succulent.
Ce n'est pas envisageable de manquer un moment comme celui-là en étant à Sainte Marie.
Je dois dire qu'on a eu de la chance car les 2 musiciens ne sont là que rarement.
Les propriétaires Marc et Peggie ont été super sympa.
Je recommande vivement et nous avons hâte de revenir.

Amazing hotel & restaurant with sea view, set in a beautiful tropical garden, tastefully decorated bar -& restaurant with friendly staff.
The owners Marc & Peggy were super welcoming hosts. We went on a whales trip too: Marc is a very
knowledgeable guide, which respectful approach, explaining everything about humpback whales. We also had the privilege of enjoying an evening with local music which was very cheerful & heartwarming, while enjoying the tasty local cinnamon ice tea, Ti-punch and fish carpaccio platters. We can't recommend this place enough !

Samaria Lodge was a gift of God for us! We loved it as soon as we stepped in - magnificent lush garden, natural swimming pool, comfortable bungalows, tasty food, amazing views and most importantly friendly and welcoming staff. The trip to Sainte Marie would not be the same without a stay here! The air is filled with sweet scent of flowers, whales dance in the distance, it is a precious place where I would not hesitate to return to at any moment. Highly recommended!

Piscine naturelle et très beau jardin au rendez vous avec vue sur les baleines au bonne période.

Saint Marie Samaria Lodge ein Paradies

Nous avons passé un séjour exceptionnel au Samaria Lodge (3 nuits).
Les propriétaires et le personnel sont aux petits soins,
L’endroit dégage un tel calme et une telle sérénité que l’on se sent presque à la maison.
La vue sur l’Océan est à couper le souffle, les installations sont en parfait état et l’hôtel vous met même à disposition canoë, masque et tuba pour explorer les alentours.
Nous avons fait 2 excursions organisées par l’hôtel et les chauffeurs ont toujours été très sympas et professionnels.
La nourriture est très bonne et fraîche.
Si nous avons l’occasion de revenir sur l’île, nous n’hésiterons pas à séjourner à nouveau ici.
Et nous vous recommandons l’endroit à 100% !

An amazing lodge with fantastic views, a calm setting and staff who are very welcoming and attentive. The manager Marc is a very warm host and it’s evident that he wants the best experience for his guests. I would definitely recommend this lodge if you’re looking for a calm retreat, especially for couples.

We really enjoyed our stay at Samaria Lodge and will definitely try to return! The friendly owners, staff and beautiful location made the hotel extra special. The coral reef right outside the natural pool is beautiful and one of the best we've seen in Madagascar. We brought our own gear, but the hotel also provides snorkeling gear if you did not bring it. The food was delicious, we really enjoyed the seafood spaghetti, zebu, duck and calamaris! Overall their kitchen was the best we have had during our 2 months in Madagascar. The freshly pressed juices including lychees from their own garden were also very refreshing. The seating right aside the sea with an outlook over two bays was beautiful. For us being a bit more up north at this location meant that we could really find the peace and quiet to relax, read many books and snorkel! The owners Marc and Peggy kindly helped us organize an outing to the natural pools and white beaches in the north aswell as to the mangroves and the restaurant chez nono. They also took us on a snorkeling trip to see a sunken ship and some underwater cliffs, where we saw very large and different species of fish. We are going to miss Marc, Peggy, Rico and the rest very much, thank you for everything!

Bugalows are exquisite! Beautiful views, nice restaurant! Owner very friendly! Beware of the chickens and the generator is a little ill placed right behind the bungalows, but nothing spotify and a boombox cant fix :):).

Je n'ai pas séjourné dans cet hôtel, je ne mettrais donc pas 5 étoiles, mais j'ai pu y passer pour faire une excursion pour aller voir les baleines à bosse ! L'endroit est très beau, propre avec piscine naturelle et point de vue surélevé par rapport à la plage. On y mange très bien ! Et le propriétaire, faisant partie de l'association CetaMada, fait de très bonnes excursion baleine ! Il essaie de prendre en compte le bien être des animaux et répondra à toutes vos questions ! Après la balade il m'a même proposé de me ramener à mon hôtel pour que je puisse me changer et revenir manger ! Des personnes sincèrement gentilles et généreuses qui pensent aux autres. Je recommande !

Les propriétaires du lieu sont fantastiques, accueil royal, service excellent. On se sent comme dans un petit paradis sur terre. Le petit-déjeuner se fait sur la terrasse devant la piscine naturelle et les baleines quand vous venez à la bonne période de l'année. Les bungalows sont propres et chaleureux.

Je recommande très fortement à tous les globe-trotteurs voyant ce commentaire.
