TRABZON MUSEUM

In a beautiful mansion built at the beginning of the 20th century by the Greek banker Kostantinos Theofylaktos, the museum of the city of Trabzon is one of the most beautiful provincial museums in Turkey. The building is worth a visit, decorated with rococo and neoclassical elements, beautifully painted ceilings, it houses a collection of ornaments, bags, watches ... and Byzantine objects, in the archaeological section in the basement, as well as many bronze pieces.
