THE CIRCUIT

The Viaduc des Fades, built between 1901 and 1909, is an exceptional work of art. At the time of its inauguration, it was the highest bridge in the world, all categories included. With its 132,5 meters high over the Sioule. Thanks to the velorail you will have the privilege to reach the viaduct and to admire the magnificent landscapes from a unique point of view. The access to the Viaduct is only possible by velorail, no pedestrian access from the road is possible or allowed.

Description

The departure of the Velorail is at the station of Les Ancizes. After a few instructions, you are off on a 7.5 km descent during which you will have the pleasure of crossing 3 tunnels, one of which is more than 300m long and very appreciated in summer for its permanent coolness. A turning system will allow you to return your Velorail to the Viaduct without any effort.

Each Velorail can accommodate up to 5 people.
