Located only 7 km east of the city of Perge, Sillyon is an archaeological site of secondary interest. If its strategically advantageous position on the top of a hill succeeded in repelling Alexander the Great, unfortunately this Pamphylian city, founded around the year 1000 BC, has not resisted the passage of centuries and the remains will not enthuse the amateurs like other much more spectacular sites nearby. If you are by car, from the highway coming from Antalya, at km 33, turn left (at the crossroads, turn right to cross the main road) and take the direction of Sillyon
