A real favorite for this elegantly run and extremely clean guesthouse. Martine, with her unfailing kindness, welcomes you in the heart of Papeete, only 15 minutes from the ferries, in a quiet area close to all amenities. Fare Tutehau (name of the mango tree, the oldest in Tahiti, heritage of the city, planted by her husband Georgy's ancestor) is part of a sustainable tourism program: at the fare, everything is solar. Classified 2 tiaré by the tourism department, it feels like home.

We arrived late from LA, took a taxi from the airport (3000 CFP). We were welcomed by the owner, who checked we had everything we needed, and we crashed in the comfortable room. In the morning he gave us lots of information on how to make the most of our time in Tahiti. He was very friendly and helpful. We loved the place, and will stay here again if we are lucky enough to come back to Tahiti.

We loved this place for one night in Papeete. It's bigger than we expected, and provided a wonderful place for our first night in FP. Our host(ess) was warm and welcoming which was nice after a long flight. We took a taxi from the airport which was easy to arrange. The driver told us something about the area not being safe to walk to at night, but it felt fine to us, and it's not a very long walk to the downtown area where you can find roulettes, restaurants, bars, etc. Breakfast was simple but delicious. Check-in/out were easy, with credit cards accepted, as Booking.com did not charge us for the room ahead of time. Highly recommended for an affordable, simple stay in Papeete, not far from the airport or town.

Stanza pulita ed accogliente, vicino all’imbarco del ferry (10 minuti a piedi)
La cuisine et la salle de bain commune sont bien équipées, très propres et fonctionnelles. Le salon est joliment décoré et chaleureux. La chambre est de bonne taille, literie de qualité, ventilateur, anti moustique et frigo à disposition.
Très bon petit déjeuner buffet, copieux et varié.
Georgy est un hôte très agréable, disponible et arrangeant. Il est de bons conseils pour les restaurants, les magasins, les excursions. Il nous fait profiter de son incroyable réseau ! Nous avons beaucoup aimé échanger avec lui.
