In 1997, the Fish and Friends Diving Centre was established in Dahab, set against the backdrop of the magnificent Sinai Mountains plunging into the crystal-clear waters of the Gulf of Aqaba. This part of the Red Sea, with its magnificently preserved coral reefs and marine life, offers a real diversity of dive types. From canyons to impressive drop-offs and coral gardens, there's something for everyone. It's worth noting that Dahab is the only place in Egypt where almost all dives can be made without a boat from the beach. This friendly, family-run center, whose watchwords are safety and respect for the environment, specializes in tailor-made holidays. Supervised by a team of professionals, everything will be done to help you discover the dive sites that best suit your desires. You can take one of the many PADI courses on offer and dive from Dahab, choosing from a myriad of easily accessible sites suitable for beginners and experienced divers alike. Or get off the beaten track and take a diving trip to the national parks surrounding Dahab. For one or more days, discover Bedouin hospitality and culture, marvel at unspoilt nature underwater and on the surface, and after superb dives, fall asleep by a campfire under the starry Sinai sky.
