To discover the Tour d'Auvergne and its history, take the Tour de la Tour trail. There are two routes starting from the Foirail. The first comprises 7 stages, including the old weighbridge, the giant cobblestones, the Place du Bon Conseil, the basalt organ cliff and the esplanade of the old castle. The second, slightly longer trail continues with the discovery of the rare remains of the walls that surrounded the castle. A story well worth the detour.
