MARATHON INTERNATIONAL DE LOUXOR

The Luxor International Marathon has established itself since 1993 as one of the most eagerly awaited races in Egypt. It is the oldest marathon on the African continent and in the Middle East. More than 2,000 runners from more than 30 different countries come every year to take up the challenge of running this marathon, which begins and ends at the Temple of Hatshepsut. It runs along the west bank of the Nile. At the same time, there are two races of 12 and 22 kilometres.
