Spice Island has preserved many of the farms where all sorts of exotic plants, trees and fruits that made the island's fortune are grown. The visit, which might seem a little tedious, is actually quite fascinating, punctuated by tastings and fragrant riddles. We discover the cinnamon tree, the fruit that contains nutmeg, lemongrass, pepper, coffee, chillies and, of course, cloves. The tour ends with a stall where you can buy all the spices at good prices.

Le tour est vraiment très intéressant. Zanzibar n'est pas surnommée l'île aux épices pour rien. On peut voir les plantations et goûter de nombreuses épices et fruits exotiques.
