Cabs are plentiful at the airport and in the center of Stone Town, in front of the Tembo Hotel and in Kelele Square. Official prices are high, but in reality - even at the airport counter - you can negotiate a discount of around 30% with a little patience, especially on long journeys. The bajajs recently introduced to Zanzibar are parked in the same place, and can also be found in front of the Darajani market. Handy if you only have a backpack to take to the airport, or if you want to return to Forodhani from Darajani.
