Located in the chic district of Oyster Bay, both central and close to Coco Beach, Hotel Protea is a good compromise for those seeking the comfort of an international hotel and vacation facilities, in the heart of the city but in a "courtyard" version, within a warm, flower-filled property with a typical coral stone façade. The rooms are classic with local touches, such as colorful Swahili stained-glass windows in some: they're charming. The property has a lovely little swimming pool.

One of the best places to stay in Oyster Bay. The staff members are very friendly and assists wherever they can. The food quality is good and options have increased considerably in the last one year. I have stayed that for about 5 times in the last one year - once for more than a month and then for shorter periods of about a week or so. The experience becomes better every time. Kudos to Suman (Manager) who personally interacts with most of the guests and tries his best to make everyone comfortable.

Clean rooms. Friendly services. The location is so convenient as it’s located just before the traffic gets busy and gives you options to go to town or Masaki which has lots of eating places and shopping.
