Founded in 2005, Chagga Tours is an expert on trekking and mountain biking in Kilimanjaro. The founder, Mike, is from Marangu, a village Chagga at the foot of Kilimanjaro. Chagga is the name given to the majority ethnicity in the region. All members of the team are from elsewhere and cultural exchanges are proposed in villages. Mountain biking circuits are organised around Kilimanjaro and to Pangani on the coast. Finally, Chagga Tours offers safari, mainly in northern parks, and seaside extensions in Zanzibar.
