Situated on the western edge of Serengeti National Park, this architecturally original lodge offers a splendid 360° panorama of the surrounding plains beyond Seronera towards Mara, including a view of the Mbalageti River where the great zebra and wildebeest migration passes every year. Its assets: a lovely, large swimming pool (a rarity and a guarantee of luxury) and a tastefully designed décor, luxury at a low price. The tented rooms have an open-air bath on the terrace, while the permanent rooms in the lodge have an outdoor lounge.

ABOUT US
In order to offer our guests a unique safari experience, we were looking for a place off the beaten track. We were determined to find a place where tranquillity is guaranteed and where nature can be enjoyed in all its facets. Including watching the ever impressive migration of wildebeest, zebra and topi etc.
We found a suitable location south of the Simiti hills. The choice of this exclusive location presented us with a few obstacles to overcome. The infrastructure was non-existent, the hills with their overheating effect on our engines and the Dutwa plain with its rich black cotton soil.
Imagine the truck sinking into the mud up to the chassis, sometimes up to 15 days, and the hard work of unloading the materials, handling them to higher ground and reloading the truck after retrieving it (and quite often the retrieval truck). The final obstacle was the Mbalageti River itself, which often meant another session of unloading, retrieving and reloading

Der einzige Wermutstropfen, wenn man von Seiten ngorogoro kommt, liegt die lodge etwas weiter westlich, was die Anfahrtszeit etwas erhöht.
La vue sur la savane à partir de l’hôtel est magnifique, les chambres sont spacieuses et très confortables et le personnel d’une grande gentillesse est aux petits soins pour vous satisfaire au maximum.
Nous recommandons fortement cet endroit à toute personne qui souhaite passer du bon temps dans le parc.
