Simple, efficient and more than affordable, the Bright Star Hotel is the perfect address for those on a budget. A pretty, friendly pink house run by the warm-hearted Veronica. The rooms are pleasant and bright, with soft four-poster beds and mosquito netting, and clean en-suite bathrooms with hot water. What more could you ask for at this price? We appreciate the location in Sakina, very close to the center (5 minutes by dala dala from the road), the warm welcome from the staff and the excellent breakfast. Wifi.

We have stayed at this hotel twice. The customer service is FANtASTIC. On our first stay, our flight has arrived earlier but the hotel sent the bus ahead of time , it makes a difference for the group of 15 people. Breakfast was great. Rooms were clean. It is not a Kempinski, but if you wish to experience true African hospitality, african showers special, if you wish to wake up to rooster coco-reekoo every morning, seeing many locals around the corner , this is the right pick ! ( taxi to city center around 4 usd , tuk tuk around 1 USD )

Nice basic hotel with free breakfast and very lovely staff. They graciously let us check out late. Other than being woken up by a call to prayer at 4:30am just outside, we enjoyed our 1 night stay.

Only thing to note is the location isn’t the best, a 30 min walk to the main area of Arusha and down a bumpy road that some taxis weren’t excited about driving on.
