BANI HAMIDA WEAVING CENTRE

Art galleries

This cooperative, located on the road between the fortress of Macheronte and the village of Mukawir, is a weaving centre run by the Bani Hamida Bedouin community. Created in 1985 by a few Bedouin women, it allows women to ensure a complementary income for their families, while perpetuating this craft tradition.
