PETRA POTTERY ASSOCIATION

This small artisanal workshop tries to revive the ancestral knowledge of Nabatean pottery. Two women are working hard to produce plates, pots, and clay jugs painted with traditional geometric designs. If you like handicrafts, a visit to this shop, which is hard to find but well known to the locals, is well worth the detour. This ancestral know-how had disappeared from the valley and to support this association is also to support it.
