A museum with a superb collection tracing Bulgaria's naval history.
In the building and the gardens surrounding it, the Marine Museum exhibits a superb collection tracing the naval history of Bulgaria. It is one of the cultural treasures of the city and it would be a shame to miss it if you stay in Varna! Below the museum, you can visit the interior of the torpedo boat Drazki which allowed the greatest Bulgarian naval victory in 1912 when it torpedoed the Turkish battleship Hamidyé. Another beautiful discovery.

On découvrira que c'est un officier de marine français qui a ouvert l'Ecole de Guerre à Varna vers la fin du XIXème siècle.
De nombreux uniformes et documents, en particulier sur la libération de Varna du joug ottoman.
