BLACK SEA WOODEN HOUSES

The traditional Black Sea houses of the old Sozopol have in their lower part exposed stone walls, structured with horizontal wooden beams, in the manner of the houses of the Rodhope Mountains, and a corbelled wooden floor supported by oblique beams. Added balconies and wooden shutters. Said to be in the style of the Black Sea, they actually evoke the houses of Istanbul, displaying their Ottoman style and giving all its charm to the peninsula.
