MINE MUSEUM (ДЕЛО ДЕЛО ДЕЛО НА)

Visit a coal mine operated from 1891 to 1966. Claustrophobic people should not go there! This museum on the places where the miners worked evokes the city at the time of "everything for industry", when the Stalinist era made Pernik a showcase of the Bulgarian proletariat. The visits, often commented by former miners (in Bulgarian), are very interesting. Moving little altar with an orthodox icon. However, the museum is sometimes closed out of season.
