Museum showing the different rooms where Aleksandar Paskaliev lived.

Aleksandar Paskaliev (1876-1946), one of the first publishers in Bulgaria and the pride of the city, was born in this house. The tour will take you through his 19th century home and the different rooms where he lived for several years. School groups regularly visit the house, and you may meet some of them sitting in one of the rooms, the teacher talking about the life of the great man, at least if you come outside the school vacations.

Managed by the municipal Museum of history (Haskovo, Place Svoboda, Tel: 038 32067) Paskalevata Kachta (the house of Paskalev) was recently restored and renovated. It presents us the "urban Life - 19th century" (Haskovo - 9, rue Bratia Mintchevi, Tel: 038 32276)

A visit that plunges us in the last one of the city and discover us the charm of the 19 century.
