CHALET UZANA (ХИЖА УЗАНА)

The meeting place for hikers and mountaineers. The chalet is located on a slope of the Balkan Mountains, at an altitude of 1,240 m, in the very center of Bulgaria. You can reach it by asphalt road from Gabrovo. The air is crystal clear and there are many hiking possibilities in the area. There is a hotel next door that rents out horses, mountain bikes or the services of a guide. In winter it is a perfect place for snowshoeing. An original option that is off the beaten track.
