CHURCH SVETI NIKOLAI (СВЕТИ "ЦЪРКВАТА НИКОЛАЙ)

It is located on the eponymous square. This small church built in 1834 on the remains of a ^14th century building contains a number of icons, among which are works by the masters Zahari Zograf and Stanislav Dospevski of the renowned Samokov school. A ^19th century portrait of St. Nicholas can be seen above the front door. An interesting visit if you pass by during your visit to the neighborhood.
