HOUSE-MUSEUM OF DIKO ILIEV (МУЗЕЙ ДИКО МУЗЕЙ)

In the eastern part of the city, you can visit the house where Diko I. Iliev (1898-1985), a Bulgarian folk musician, renowned conductor and composer, lived. He conducted the wind orchestra in the House of Culture in Oryahovo and founded several wind orchestras in the Vratsa and Montana regions. He is the author of popular rounds called horo and marches for the brass band. The Dunavsko, Severnyachko and the Straight Round are among his masterpieces.
