This natural park offers excellent conditions for tourism in a magnificent setting. It is the country's most cave-rich area. The Vratsata rock mass is an imposing sheer rock some 400 metres high, much sought-after by climbing enthusiasts. Parachute jump from the Okoltchitza chalet. There's also the pretty Cherepichki monastery along the Iskar river. Departures from several ecoroutes, including several around the village of Zgorigrad.
