Located near Thiers in Escoutoux, Roger Orfèvre specializes in cutlery, the manufacture of wooden articles and tableware. For nearly a century, it has combined a long experience in woodworking and stainless steel work. It is one of the companies that are members of Esprit de Thiers.

History. Roger Orfèvre was founded in 1924 in the historic birthplace of cutlery. Manufacturer of stainless steel cutlery since its creation, it continues to devote itself to silversmithing in the respect of tradition: absinthe spoons, snail tongs, stainless steel housewives...

Since 2009, Roger Orfèvre has been particularly interested in the manufacture of PaperStone articles, a material made from recycled waste paper combined with natural products, for the handles of his pocket knives. Thanks to a unique know-how, the cutler knows how to meet all the specific demands of his customers, whether in terms of design or customization of the articles.

Finally, Roger Orfèvre has his own carpentry workshop. It is here that solid wood (oak, beech...) is used for tableware and also for cupboards to store rifles.

The products. Roger Orfèvre manufactures a wide range of pocket and table knives with handles in wood, stainless steel, Plexiglas or PaperStone. The brand also produces cheese trays, cutting boards, pantry....
