In the middle of the weeds and fig trees that always manage to make their way between the old stones, at the risk of damaging them irreparably, one can easily recognize the remains of a residential area where the houses were decorated with mosaics and basins. The Christian quarter around the Basilica of the Peace of St. Augustine is easily identifiable with its semicircular apse, the great baths where most of the statues in the museum come from, Hadrian's Cistern, the theater and the forum quarter.
