Colonial-style hotel located in the heart of the city, offering old-fashioned rooms with classy bathrooms.

Very well located, in the heart of the city, the colonial-style hotel has seen some "beautiful" people pass through it, such as General de Gaulle who spent a night there. Most of the rooms have been renovated before 2020 (with quality bedding, old-fashioned decoration but classy bathroom and large space) and the retro side of the first floor will delight the nostalgic. The staff is friendly and available to answer any questions related to your stay. Breakfast is quite complete. An option that remains quite expensive.

the Grand Hotel East is TO BE AVOIDED. On arrival at the hotel, be- say it receptionist gives us the keys to a room. Surprise, the room was not rebuilt or was occupied (the receptionist did not know). the 2nd and 3rd room, the toilet... oh that stank; I do not want to describe what I saw... and then the worst in all that, it has no water.

Of course, having seen everything, the old receptionist nicely invites us to see elsewhere! I request where the ministry of tourism in all that, how you stupidly attributed to 3 star hotel, if it were in France, it would be closed for a very long time.

Good, I sought elsewhere and I found on 4 star (I would compare without doubt one 3 star in France). The price was from DA7500, but I do not regret taking it!
