A modern city, home to the Frères Mentouri university, the two gigantic minarets of the Emir-Abdelkader mosque..

The modern city is dominated by the 22-story tower of the University of Mentouri Brothers inaugurated in 1971 and built according to the plans of Oscar Niemeyer, Brazilian architect and designer. You will not miss either the observation, 5 km east of the University of Mentouri Brothers, the two gigantic minarets of the Emir-Abdelkader mosque of the University of Islamic Sciences built in the early 1970s with mixed Algerian-Saudi funds. Further south, is the new city of Constantine Ali Mendjeli.
