North of Bejaia, a road climbs through olive trees and pines, bypassing the heights of Gouraya. We take a small tunnel, before discovering the magnificent Cape Carbon, in fact an islet connected to the coast by a small alluvial isthmus. The path leads to a lighthouse built at 220 m, one of the highest in the Mediterranean, along very nice creeks. However, you can take very nice pictures of the lighthouse from the platform. And the view of the sea is breathtaking! Also expect to see some monkeys, regulars of the place.
