If there is a place known to locals and holidaymakers in search of a refreshing treat, it is the ice cream stand of Ali Kenniche. Since 1958, he has been working in ice cream and, little by little, he has become Dali Bou la Glace. Invaded on weekends and all summer long for its creponné - a lemon sorbet, it is a pied-noir speciality - and its garantita - another Algerian speciality, a kind of chickpea flan which is mainly eaten hot -, and which competes with the best ones in Oran, this snack is ideal for the small munchies in the city center.
