KISSARIA

Covering an area of 5 ha, this commercial district dates back to the time dominated by the Zianids, during which it was organized as a large caravanserai. Today, the Kissaria is still as commercial, animated around the pedestrian street Mrabet-Mohamed. In the neighborhoods surrounding the Kissaria, notably the old Medina and around the Martyrs' Square (Chouhada), the stroll allows you to discover the decrepit facades of old buildings once inhabited by members of the commercial and intellectual elite.
