ROZALCASAR FORTIFICATION

It is the main fortification of Oran. It is equipped with long and high walls, pits, glacis and tunnels that communicate with the other forts and the citadel. The interest of this site is that it offered a point of view at the same time on the port, the old city and the back country. On the east side of the great wall, the coat of arms of King Philip V can be seen, which also bears the date 1701. The western part of the fortification has dungeons.
