Oranese church built by the Spanish and rebuilt by the French, now home to a small cultural center.

It is the oldest church in Oran. It was built by the Spaniards after the capture of Oran (1509) on the site of a former mosque. It was very damaged by the earthquake of 1790. It was not until 1831 that the French rebuilt it (along with the Sacred Heart Cathedral) and gave it its current Romanesque appearance. It was Oran's cathedral until 1913 before being decommissioned following the construction of the Sacred Heart Cathedral. Today it hosts a small cultural center
