Kaohsiung is now at the forefront of the arts in Taiwan. In the port, several former warehouses have been converted into artists' studios, exhibition halls and theatres. The place is superb, the surroundings (especially the old railway line) having also been renovated, and really deserves the detour and to spend several hours there. Most of the exhibitions are non-permanent and free of charge. Take the time to walk from one building to another, the complex is huge. An information centre provides full details of the activities.

Lieu très intéressant pour découvrir l'art moderne et la création taïwanaise. Ce lieu est très animé le dimanche : de nombreuses familles y viennent, notamment pour faire un tour en petit train.
