BAMBOO STREET

To the west of the city centre, this street was full of shops offering bamboo articles, from works of art to everyday utensils, proof that the uses of bamboo are infinite. Unfortunately, the younger generation is now abandoning this ancestral material for more modern (and less resistant) products. As a result, there are only a few shops left that survive as best they can, but they still offer enough to fill an entire house with bamboo items. A visit to make if there's time.
