1958 HOTEL FORMERLY HOTEL HOLIDAY GARDEN * * * *
The Holiday Garden Hotel is a landmark hotel in Kaohsiung, founded in 1958 by Mr. Chen, Zhi Pei. It was Taiwan's first international tourist hotel. Since its opening, it has become a favorite gathering place for high society and regularly hosts major events such as the Golden Horse Awards. The hotel boasts 270 guest rooms in a variety of styles, as well as a number of high-quality facilities including a lobby, banquet hall, outdoor swimming pool surrounded by coconut palms and a gym. Recently renovated, the hotel now offers luxurious, comfortable rooms and bright, spacious spaces. In addition to its Kaohsiung branch, Holiday Garden Hotel also owns four other hotels in California. In 2018, they opened Holiday Garden Hotel Kaohsiung SKM Park, a family-friendly property next to the SKM Park shopping mall, inspired by the success of the Residence Inn Anaheim, located near the Disney Adventure Park theme park in California. The Holiday Garden Hotel is thus contributing to the growth of the tourism industry in Kaohsiung.
