In the heart of the old town, this street is the best preserved. Essentially pedestrianized today, it is home to numerous cafés, restaurants and small souvenir shops of all kinds. The walk is very pleasant, time sometimes seems to have stopped there. It's best to walk there at dusk, when the traditional lanterns in the street light up, offering a spectacle somewhat reminiscent of the historic streets of Kyoto. A real time travel.

une rue typique dans une ville grise
La ville de Taïnan est assez décevante (sauf le quartier d'Anping), heureusement cette vieille rue aux maisons restaurées apporte une note de couleur à cette ville grise. Nombreuses boutiques de souvenirs artisanaux, douceurs, bars et restos. On peut y flâner quelques heures
