PULP DISTILLERY

The village of Puli is home to one of the largest distilleries in the region, which produces a rice wine called Shaohsin, originating from Zhejiang province in mainland China. It is a rather strong wine, which is mainly used for cooking, but it goes quite well with dried fruit preparations. This factory offers tastings and a rather uninteresting tour of the museum on the making of this wine. To taste: sausages with Shaohsin.
