The closest golf course to Taipei, it is very busy at weekends. Built in 1918, it is the oldest golf club in the country, but it wasn't until 1929 that the 18-hole course was inaugurated by the Japanese governor of the time. Today, the club hosts the Taiwan Master, one of the most renowned professional tournaments on the Asian circuit. The 6th hole (Par 5) is undoubtedly the most difficult part of the course: the sea winds have to be taken into account!
