Caves with ancient cave paintings, where you can learn about the way of life and history of the original peoples

These caves (also known as Gualicho) are home to cave paintings dating back 4,000 years. A roadside sign will show you the trail leading to the lake. From there, a very friendly and interesting guide will tell you more about the biodiversity of the local flora. We will still see stencils of hands, men, guanacos, and abstract geometric symbols that have a metaphysical meaning that is difficult to interpret. Anyway, we learn a lot about the original peoples, their way of life and their history.
