Small landing museum offering a visit to admire various replicas on the small cape of Golfo Nuevo
This small cape of Golfo Nuevo is dug out of some natural caves. It is here that the first Welsh colony, freshly landed from the sailing ship Mimosa, is said to have settled on July 28, 1865. A small landing museum commemorates this event and a Monumento al Indio Tehuelche was built just above the beach in 1965 during the centenary of the Welsh colony. The visit allows you to admire different relics to discover more about the history of the region.
